RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to the Dean, College of Education, and is responsible for the effective administration of the department. Specific duties include administering the departmental budget, directing departmental planning and policy formulation/interpretation, overseeing class scheduling, student advising, recruitment, and retention activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic: Earned doctorate in Kinesiology or a related field.
Experience: Significant and effective experience in teaching at the university level which would qualify for appointment at a senior faculty rank. Experience in higher education administration and with accreditation preferred, including but not limited to National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
