Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree; (ii) evidence of published research; and preferably (iii) a Certificate in Education. The appointee will (a) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, primarily in the area of the psychology of sport and exercise, and/or sociology of sport and physical education; (b) develop a strong research programme. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for two years initially commencing August 2008, leading to longer-term appointment or substantiation later subject to mutual agreement. [Monthly salary ranges for Associate Professorship: from HK$61,095 to HK$70,295; for Assistant Professorship: from HK$45,580 to HK$58,025; approximate exchange rate in February 2008: USD1=HK$7.8]
