JOB: University of Ulster, Coaching and Sports Development

The University has embarked upon a renewed commitment to the development of sport with an expansion in opportunities to study sport and the development of an £11m state-of-the-art Performance Centre. As part of this commitment we wish to make the following academic appointments:
Lecturers in Coaching and Sports Development (two posts) Ref: C04/832/W

To teach and assess modules in sports coaching, sports development and modules with practical activities.

Applicants must hold a first or second class honours degree or higher degree, or equivalent, in sports studies, sports development, sports coaching or closely related area. Experience of teaching, assessing and supporting students at further education or higher education level and experience of coach education are also essential.

Appointment to the posts are effective from 1 September 2005. The posts are based at the Jordanstown campus.
Salary: £23,643 - £35,883
Closing date: 24 June 2005
Interview date: 2 and 3 August 2005
