JOB: University of Ulster, Associate Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology

The University has embarked upon a renewed commitment to the development of sport with an expansion in opportunities to study sport and the development of an £11m state-of-the-art Performance Centre. As part of this commitment we wish to make the following academic appointment:
Associate Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology
(0.5 fte 50% of full-time
Ref: C04/834/W

To teach and assess modules in social and psychological aspects of sport, science of movement, sport and exercise psychology, applied sports psychology, research methods and modules with practical activities.

Applicants must hold a first or second class honours degree or higher degree or equivalent in sports studies, sports science, sport psychology or a closely related area and have experience of the practice of sports psychology and/or of teaching sports psychology at higher or further education level.

Appointment to the post is effective from 1 September 2005. The post is based at the Jordanstown campus.
Salary: £23,643 - £35,883 pro-rata
Closing date: 24 June 2005
Interview date: 2 and 3 August 2005
