Auburn University at Montgomery announces a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor of Sport Management beginning Spring 2013. This is a full-time, nine month position with opportunities for summer teaching. A Ph.D./Ed.D. in Sport Management or closely related field is required. ABD status will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate sport management and related physical education/exercise science courses, as well as, supervising interns. Such courses may include Sport Finance, Sport Leadership, Introduction to Sport Management, Sport Marketing, Sport Ethics, Risk and Legal Issues in Sport, etc. Familiarity with COSMA accreditation is essential.
