TITLE: Assistant/Associate Professor, (tenure-track)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Department of Health and Human Performance invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning Fall 2006. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in methods and content courses in Physical Education and Health, which might include administration, curriculum design, history and philosophy, and activities. The successful candidate should have experience supervising student teachers and be willing and able to teach in our interdisciplinary general studies program. Faculty in this position should be exceptional teachers and participate in professional activities that keep them abreast of current knowledge in the discipline. Applicants must have a terminal degree in Physical Education and/or Health Pedagogy and experience in teaching pedagogy and content courses. Eligibility for the North Carolina Physical Education license is required.
