All Blacks and the 'Mother Country' 1905-2005

To mark the centenary of the first All Blacks tour of the UK, a special conference will be held at the Museum of Rugby, Twickenham on Monday 12 September 2005.

Hosted by the Museum of Rugby, De Montfort University and Southampton University, the conference's featured speakers will be:

Dr Chris Laidlaw, former All Black and New Zealand MP
Professor James Belich, University of Auckland,
Professor Gareth Williams, University of Glamorgan
Dr Greg Ryan, Lincoln University, Christchurch
Dr Ian Conrich, Roehampton University
Dr Malcolm Maclean, University of Gloucestershire
Dr Charles Little, London Metropolitan University

A film evening showing historic films of New Zealand rugby union tour matches over the past century will take place on the Sunday evening, starting at 7.30pm, hosted by Welsh and British Lions rugby union legend Bleddyn Williams.

The conference starts at 9.30 am and the cost, including the film evening, is £50.
