Reminder: Invitation to Session Organizers
Follow-up to the April 6, 2005 Announcement
The 26th Annual Conference of the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport will be held October 26-29 at the Adams Mark Hotel in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. Members who wish to propose panels, workshops, sessions, or other ideas for the conference should contact Program Chair, Stephan Walk, Department of Kinesiology, California State University, Fullerton, Fullerton, CA, 92834 Tel (714) 278-4763; Email: swalk@fullerton.edu. Deadline for Proposals for Sessions is Monday, May 2.
Please note: A number of interesting and stimulating sessions have already been proposed, but there is certainly room for more. As always, proposed sessions need not be related to the conference theme. Following this call for session organizers, a call seeking papers and posters will be issued soon after the 2005 sessions have been submitted and finalized. The deadline for papers and posters submitted for the 2005 NASSS Conference will be mid June. Look for the Call for Paper and Poster Abstracts (including important information on online submissions), in addition to further details on keynotes and other conference highlights, in late April on the NASSS website: www.nasss.org
