PHD: Sport Studies - Mississippi State University

The Department of Kinesiology at Mississippi State University is pleased to announce the initiation of a Ph.D. degree concentration in Sport Studies. The program has graduate assistant positions open for the fall of 2015 and is currently accepting applicants.

The sport studies doctoral concentration involves studying sport from an interdisciplinary perspective, including the areas of sport sociology, sport philosophy, sport pedagogy, and sport administration. The program is intended for students who desire teaching and research careers in higher education institutions.
