Dear NASSS community,
The North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) Conference will take place June 2 - 6, 2015 in Ottawa and will be hosted by the University of Ottawa’s Sport Management Group. The NASSM conference has been held every year since 1986, making 2015 its 30th edition. With this edition, the University of Ottawa will be the only university to have hosted the conference twice (the first time was in 1991). The conference will be set at the beautiful Delta Ottawa City Centre, just minutes from campus and the downtown core.
On behalf of the sport management group at the University of Ottawa, we would like to share the call for abstracts. This year, the theme of the conference will be: Knowledge, Passion, Community: Driving Sport Forward.
NASSM features a wide array of research areas (e.g., governance, communication, economics, law, leadership, marketing, teaching and sociology) as they related to sporting phenomena. The abstract submission process will commence October 1, 2014 and conclude November 1, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. (P.S.T.).
Presentations may be proposed as either a 20-minute oral presentation, a poster, or a 60-minute full symposium, forum, roundtable, or workshop. Authors’ names may not appear on more than two (2) abstracts of any kind.
For more details on submitting an abstract, the conference, or NASSM itself, please visit www.nassm.com/nassm2015 or follow us on Twitter (@NASSM2015).
Sincerely,
Dr. Milena M. Parent & Dr. Eric W. MacIntosh
