FILMFEST: The Olympics of Cinema and TV Sports Shows from Around the World

THE OLYMPICS OF CINEMA AND TV SPORT SHOWS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Film productions, majors, independent producers and directors, Olympic
Committees from all over the World, national and international Sport
Federations, advertising agencies and communication offices, and everyone
who has "something to show about sport" - disciplines, teams, champions,
amateurs, fans, sport people, testimonial... you are all invited to entry
at the 22nd edition of "Sport Movies & TV - International Festival", the
"Olympics of Sport on TV and Silver Screen".

Deadline for entries is June 30, 2005: forms, Rules and other infos are
available on the website www.sportmoviestv.com, daily updated with news
from the Festival, from Cinema and from sport in TV.

The Festival is organized by FICTS - Federation Internationale Cinema
Television Sportifs, recognized by IOC (International Olympic Committee)
with 90 Member Nations, and it will be held in Italy, in the heart of
Milan (Palazzo Giureconsulti - piazza Duomo) from October 27 until
November 1, 2005.

The Sections are 6: 1. Olympic Games / Olympic Spirit 2. Documentary
(Great Champions / Individual Sports, Great Champions / Team Sports,
Reportage 1905-2005); 3. Sport & Society (Sport & Solidarity; Sport for
All, Educational/ Technique/Didactics/New Media); 4. TV Sport Show;
5.Movies; 6. Sport & Advertising (Social/Corporate Advertising, Commercial
Advertising).

"Sport Movies & Tv" is anticipated by the International Challenge 2005,
including the continental phases held in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Krasnogorsk,
(Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Johannesburg (South Africa), Liberec
(Czech Republic) and Tehran (I.R. Iran).

Directed by FICTS President Prof. Franco B. Ascani, the Festival will
involve over 200.000 spectators and visitors with entrance free of charge
and/or upon invitation, and it will include several situations:
Screenings, Meetings, Exhibits, Collateral Events, Award Ceremonies,
Olympic Games Turin 2006.

In Piazza Duomo a maxi-screen will broadcast 10 hours a day the best
images taken from the competing works and the live coverage of the
relevant sport events of the week. Five screening points inside Palazzo
Giureconsulti will allow the visitors to enjoy the videos with any weather
condition.
